Digital Citizenship
Digital Citizenship
This collection of digital citizenship scenarios has been developed to support educators, students, and researchers in navigating the complex social, ethical, and civic responsibilities that arise in digitally connected learning environments across schools, TAFE, and higher education. Accessible via the drop-down menu in the taskbar, the scenarios are designed to prompt critical thinking around topics such as online behaviour, privacy, identity, digital rights, and responsible technology use.
Some scenarios are ready for classroom use to support digital literacy programs, others are designed for student research or professional reflection, and several are targeted toward higher education and HDR students exploring the role of digital participation in education and society. Many are aligned with current frameworks and educational standards, and all aim to promote active, informed, and inclusive digital engagement. If you cannot find a scenario suited to your context or would like to suggest a new focus area, please contact us via email.
