The Artifical Intelligence for Education Network in Action

Contact us
The Artificial Intelligence for Education Network in Action showcases and provides practical ways to embed good AI governance in education through real-world examples, tools, and strategies that support ethical, inclusive, and context-responsive implementation.

Good AI governance in education isn’t just a policy—it’s a practice. AIGE in Action helps us embed it where it matters most: in the everyday decisions that shape teaching, learning, and trust.

AI readiness Workshops
An AI Readiness Workshop is a hands-on, collaborative session designed to help educators across schools, TAFE, and higher education assess and evaluate their preparedness for integrating AI. Drawing on tools like CSIRO’s AI Ethics Navigator, the workshop supports participants to identify gaps, surface ideas, benchmark current practices, and develop context-specific strategies for ethical and inclusive AI adoption in education.
But did they actually write it?
But Did They Actually Write It? was an exhibition sponsored by ATEA that explored how pre-service teachers and initial teacher education (ITE) programs are negotiating the integration of generative AI into their practice. It featured a series of visual representations based on research findings, which were analysed through the lens of psychosocial risk and the Transactional Model of Stress and Coping. The exhibition offered a powerful and creative insight into how emerging educators are experiencing, adapting to, and making sense of AI in their learning and professional identities.
Case Studies
AIGE provides you with case studies that draw on ethical and rights-based guidelines, covering risk, privacy, stakeholder engagement, development, and deployment, to support educators in embedding AI governance into their courses and units. Designed for use with both staff and students, they provide practical, discussion-ready scenarios to foster critical engagement with responsible AI in education.
